Australia Domestic Flight Schedule

24.9.09 Jetstar Flight JQ592 SYD (Sydney) - CNS (Cairns) 07:00 - 10:10.

27.9.09 Qantas QF1851 CNS (Cairns) - AYQ (Uluru) 07:20 - 09:40.

29.9.09 Qantas QF1940 AYQ (Uluru) - ASP (Alice Springs) 10:20 - 11:05.

01.10.09 Qantas QF797 ASP (Alice Springs) - MEL (Melbourne) 11:45 - 14:50.
01.10.09 Qantas JQ709 MEL (Melbourne) - HBA (Hobart) 16:30 - 17:45.

04.10.09 Virgin Blue DJ1531 HBA (Hobart) - SYD (Sydney) 08:50 - 10:45.

Six segments within the country seems like a lot for a 15 day trip. However, given the immensity of the country and the distances we'll be traveling, there's really no other options.

The trip from Uluru to Alice Springs is either a 45 minute jet ride or a 6 hour bus ride through the outback. No real comparison to hopping on a plane.
